Connect an Arduino to Android via Bluetooth

Connect an Arduino to Android via Bluetooth

One of the most interesting features of Arduino is that you can handle it usign your phone. If you have a HC-06 (JY-MCU) or HC-05 Bluetooth module, I have a basic example to read and send commands to an Android device.

As I said in a previous post, I am compiling a set of basic examples to connect the Arduino to different modules. One of them is the HC-06 (JY-MCU) Bluetooth module. Although it is not compatible with Bluetooth 4.0, it is still useful for certain occasions.

In the following link you can see a few pictures and the sketch to connect them. To control it from the Android device, I recommend BlueTerm application, the original, to write text or send commands to the Arduino.
